  John & Mary's Oceano beach house, 1843 Strand Way, Oceano OR 1899 Laguna Drive, Oceano: two addresses, same house! For best parking, take a left off of Strand Way onto York Avenue or Utah Avenue and walk a minute or two to the beach house.  ​

Saturday, July 19

• Morning walk or run: 

  • Pismo Pier to tide pools and dinosaur caves;
    Meet at 9 am sharp at Pismo Beach Pier,
    100 Pomeroy, Pismo Beach

• Later morning family history fun

  • 11 am​; join us at Cohen home for an hour of sharing family stories about Ira, Ralph, and their children; 375 Plancha Way, Arroyo Grande, California

• Afternoon suggestions:  

  • Arroyo Grande Farmer’s Market: 12-2:30 pm
    Lunch & shopping in AG village
    Historic barn & schoolhouse open in adjacent park  

  • Wine tasting: 1:30-3:00 pm. Kelsey See Canyon Vineyards

  • At 9 am sharp, hike the Bob Jones Trail to the beach and back (about 4 miles, mostly level); meet at parking lot of
    Woodstone Market, 6675 Laurel Bay Place, Avila Beach

• Afternoon: 

  • Avila Valley Barn
    560 Avila Beach Drive, San Luis Obispo, CA 93405
    Farm zoo, pony rides, corn roasters, ice cream, seasonal produce, fresh baked pies, gift shop. 

  • Kayak/Paddleboard Avila Bay,
    Avila Beach Paddlesports.
